Crown of Neurons

by alfogarc | May 24, 2025 | Post | 1 comment

Today we return to share with you the image that represents our project, Queen Baddo, a key figure in Visigothic history as we saw in previous publications. But what we are going to talk about is her “crown of neurons”.

Have you ever wondered how our brain works and what it has to do with Artificial Intelligence?

Our neurons are the fundamental units of the nervous system, responsible for processing and transmitting information through electrical and chemical impulses. Scientists and engineers have been inspired by this incredible architecture to create artificial neural networks. These are the backbone of much of modern Artificial Intelligence, especially in areas such as deep learning.

While AI is still far from the complexity of the human brain, its development is based on emulating the way our neurons communicate and process information. Artificial neural networks simulate the way neurons connect and “learn” from data, allowing machines to recognise patterns, understand language, generate images and much more.

It’s a beautiful dance between biology and technology, where nature gives us the inspiration to build the future.
