We are thrilled to share that on 19 February 2025, our PhD student Alfonso García Sánchez presented at the University of Valladolid’s conference, Poder y Poderes en el Norte Peninsular durante la Antigüedad Tardía y la Edad Media: Estudios emergentes y nuevas perspectivas.
In a compelling presentation titled “La conversión de los suevos al catolicismo: paradigmas historiográficos en la época de la IA,” Alfonso explored a fascinating intersection of history and technology. He discussed the potential of applying AI to analyze the historiography of the Suevi Kingdom’s religious conversions, spanning from the Franco era to the present day.
